Gary W Madras , 35
Gary W. Madras, 35, of 1910 Jackson Ave., died the afternoon of August 1, 2008, in North Beaver Twp.
Born November 14, 1972, in Erie, he was the son of James and Jean Ann Jameson Madras. They survive in Leesburg, Fla. He was married to the former Lisa L. Garlitz for 10 years. She survives in New Castle.
Gary was a freight unloader for seven years at Walmart in New Castle. He graduated in 1991 from Harborcreek High School and also graduated in 1995 from Behrend College in Erie. Gary enjoyed playing his bass guitar with his friends in Erie and in New Castle.
He was a Christian.
In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include a daughter, Delaney R. Madras of New Castle; a son, Drew M. Madras of New Castle; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Heather Madras of Springfield, Ore., and David and Sabrina Madras of Ellenton, Fla,; and a sister and brother-in-law, Karin and Marc Steiner of Erie.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Aug 8, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill St. New Castle, PA.
A memorial service will take place on Friday following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate.
