Alma R Hart , 81
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Alma R. Hart, 81, of Waynesville, Mo, formerly of New Castle, who passed away Saturday evening, January 30, 2010, following a brief illness.
Alma was born February 12, 1928, in Monaca, PA. The daughter of the late Percy and Susie (Crews) Smith Sr. She was a former member and usher of Union Baptist Church in New Castle.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis May and her husband Ernest; two sons, Michael Hart and his wife Charlisse, of Detroit, MI and Gerald Alexander and his wife Marshel, of Waynesville, MO; eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ernestine Hill and Etheleen Morris, both of Rochester, PA and Linda Smith and partner, of Monaca, PA; one brother, Roger Smith and his wife Pauline, of Rochester, PA; and a host of family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by a son, Walter Hart; two sisters, Gladys Burton and Doris Johnson; as well as four brothers, Vongray, Percy Jr., Elmer her twin and Larry Smith.
Services where handled by Waynesville Memorial Chapel in Waynesville, MO. Local arrangements where entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc., 1142 S. Mill Street.
