Judith L. DuBois, 60, of 2224 Hartman St., New Castle, died the morning of February 7, 2010, in her residence with her family by her side.
Born July 13, 1949, in New Castle. Judy was the daughter of the late Earl Marker. Her mother Marian L. Fandozzi, survives in New Castle. She is Protestant and attended the Independent Methodist Church.
Judy worked at the unemployment office and for the Department of Public Assistance as a case worker for over twenty years. She was also a loving homemaker for her children and grandchildren.
She was a graduate of New Castle Business College and Shenango High School.
Judy enjoyed traveling to Graceland to visit Elvis's home with her grandchildren. She love to play bingo. Judy was a member of Eintracht, Moose Club and Ladies of the Dukes. She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Marian L. Marker, survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws, Domenick F. DuBois and his wife Ruth Ann, of Indiana and Bart L. DuBois and his wife Karen, of Maryland; a daughter, Michelle R. Hietsch, of New Castle; a brother, Earl 'Butch' Marker, of New Castle; and nine grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, Earl Marker.
Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc., 1142 S. Mill Street.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, 12 p.m., at the funeral home. Rev. Fredrick Gilbert, of Independent Methodist Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
