Josephine E Sniezek , 95
Josephine E. Sniezek, 95, of 1169 N. Liberty St., New Castle, died the morning of February 16, in Haven Nursing Home.
Born May 1, 1914, in New Castle. Josephine was the daughter of the late Frank Prejsnar and Anna Biedka Prejsnar. She was married for 42 years to Frank Sniezek. He preceded her in death.
Josephine was Roman Catholic and a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She was a loving homemaker for her husband and son. Josephine enjoyed doing puzzles and she was a member of the H.O.P.E. Club of Mary Mother of Hope Parish.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard F. Sniezek and his wife Maryann, of New Castle; and one grandson, Ryan Sniezek, of Beaver, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frank Sniezek, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Gonet, Bertha Boda and Rose McBride; two brothers, Stanley Prejsnar and Joseph Prejsnar.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2010, at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle.
A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Rev. Victor Molka, Pastor of Mary Mother of Hope Parish will officiate. Burial will be in Madonna Cemetery.
