Dolores J Toaso , 68
Dolores J. Toaso, 68, of 1144 Parkwood Ct., Apt. 2C, New Castle, died the morning of August 15, in Jameson Hospital.
Born January 14, 1940 in Springdale, Pa to her father, the late Andrew Toaso, and her mother Veronica Vrabel Toaso, who survives.
Dolores worked for 47 years as a baker in the dietary departments of the former St. Francis Hospital in New Castle and Jameson Hospital/North.
She was Roman Catholic.
Dolores was a graduate of New Castle Highschool, Class of 1957, She loved to cook and bake. Dolores enjoyed doing crafts and being with her family.
In addition to her mother, survivors include two sisters, Karol Topij of Deerborn Hgts, M.I., and Karen Hall of New Castle; a sister-in-law Elizabeth Toaso of Warren, M.I.; Twelve nieces and nephews in the area; Eighteen great nieces and nephews, also in the area.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Raymond Toaso; and a sister, Bernice Toaso.
Family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill St. New Castle.
A Blessing and Committal service will take place Monday at 2:00 p.m., following visitation at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. The Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.
