William McDevitt , 51
William McDevitt, 51, of 1803 Hanna St., New Castle, died the morning of July 6, 2010, in Avalon Nursing Home.
Born July 12, 1958, in Burbank, CA. William was the son of the late Donald J. and Ailene L. Seniow McDevitt. Mr. McDevitt worked as a truck driver for 15 years at Fulena Paving Co., in New Castle.
He was a graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech. William loved his cat and watching NASCAR Racing. He also enjoyed many different shooting sports. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include three brothers, John McDevitt, of New Castle, Michael McDevitt, of Irwin, PA and Shane J. McDevitt, of New Castle; and two sisters, Dawn McDevitt and Danielle McDevitt, both of New Castle.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of his life will take place at his sister Dawn's residence, 118 W. Miller Ave., New Castle, on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 4 p.m. Arrangements are by the Noga Funeral Home, Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle.
