Bunny and I were good friends in elementary school,Lincoln Garfield. I lived on "Sheep Hill" and stopped each morning at their home on Long Ave. and we walked to school together.I have not been in contact for many years but was deeply moved to hear of her passing.
Condolences to the entire Conrad and Noga families.
I am a cousin of Bunny. My father and her mother were sister and brother.
I've spent a lot of time with Bunny as a child staying with them. Bunny always took me to the Victor movies and spent a lot of time with me as an older sister that I never had.
I moved to Titusville Florida and had been able to visit Bunny a few times.
I am so shocked to find out today that she passed. Just 2 days ago my husband and I were going to call her and head down to visit her.
No one contacted me and today I received an e-mail from a friend.
I love you Bunny
Your cousin Barbara
Bunny and I arrived in Fort Lauderdale in 1962. We found we had many similarities and lived together, taught at Peter's Elementary and had the same birthdate, which we celebrated together most every year with dinner. This year and those to come will have a sad spot without Bunny. She will be greatly missed by me and everyone who knew her. I know that Heaven is a better place as she is there lighting it up with her delightful presence. She touched many lives with her kind and gental ways, her family was her greatest joy and her dedication to her students was beyond amazing. I thank God for our 48 year friendship and deeply miss her.
