Robert E Mays, 63
Robert E. Mays Sr., 63, of 936 State Rt. 18, New Wilmington, died the night of Sept 14, 2008, at his residence.
Born March 7, 1945, in Titusville, Pa. He was the son of Samuel and Mary Jane Haggerty Mays. His father precedes him in death. Robert was a U.S. Army, Vietnam Veteran.
Robert worked most recently for Schwebel's in Youngstown for many years. He also worked for B & W, Kopple Steel Division and the Sheet-n-Tube in Youngstown, Ohio.
He was an avid hunter and loved to go fishing.
In addition to his mother Mary Jane Mays from Clairington, Pa., survivors include a son, Robert E. Mays Jr. of New Castle; two daughters, Michelle Mays and Susan Mays of New Castle; a brother, James A. Mays of Muzette, PA; and two sisters, Patricia Mason of Clairington, PA and Mary Ann Wilson of Sigel, PA; and three grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his father.
There are no calling hours scheduled.
A private memorial service will be conducted by the family at a later date.
