Carole Elaine Mrozek

Carole Elaine Mrozek, 85, of 405 Florence Ave, New Castle, passed away the morning of January 10, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, PA.

Carole was born April 25, 1934 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Mable Wheale Frazier. Carole was married to the late Leon E. Mrozek. They were married for 56 years. She was of the Protestant faith.

Mrs. Mrozek will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. Carole also worked for 5 years as a Telephone Operator at the former Bell Telephone. Mrs. Mrozek enjoyed reading, taking family vacations to Lake Erie, and camping. She was a member of the MNO Club at Bell Telephone. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Carole is survived by two sons, David Mrozek and Daniel Mrozek; daughter, Susan (Anthony) Funari, all of New Castle; granddaughter, Jessica (Justin Walker) Eakin; four great-grandchildren, Mia, Michael  and Marino Graham, and Jola Walker.

In addition to her parents and husband Leon, Carole was preceded in death by her son, Todd Mrozek; and brother, Robert Frazier.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill Street.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. Pastor Matthew Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be viewed or offered by visiting www.nogafuneralhome.com
