Alan R. Campbell

Alan R. Campbell, 68, of New Castle passed away the morning of March 14, 2026 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Alan was born March 3, 1958 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Chester J. and Margaret (Marshall) Campbell. Alan was married to the former Cindy Porada. They married on July 15, 1978, and were married for 48 years. Mr. Campbell was of the Catholic faith. He was a graduate of Laurel High School, class of 1976.

Mr. Campbell worked as a welder for more than 15 years with Vallourec in Youngstown, Ohio. He retired after numerous years of service with Richardson Heating and Cooling. Alan was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Princeton Rod and Gun club, and a volunteer Fireman with the Hickory Township Volunteer Fire Department. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Cindy, Alan is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Ryan Sr.) Palmer of Enon Valley, PA, and Stacy (Jack) Alwardt of New Castle; three brothers, Dana (Debbie) Campbell, Brian (Pat) Campbell of Abbottstown, PA, Gary (Charlene) Campbell of New Castle; five grandchildren, Savannah Palmer, Karsten Alwardt, Ryan Palmer,Jr., Bryce Palmer, Delilah Alwardt. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by parents.

Following Alan’s wishes, there are no visiting hours scheduled at this time. A graveside service will be held in Briar Hill Cemetery on Friday, March 20, 2026. Local arrangements entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 Mill Street.
