Amy L. Hallowich

Amy L. Hallowich, 68, of Morris Street, New Castle passed away surrounded by family on the afternoon of February 19, 2023 at her residence

Amy was born on March 4, 1954 in Virginia Beach, VA. She was the daughter of the late Milton and Eloise (Dover) Balog. She was married to the late Stephen Hallowich. He preceded her in death in 2016.  Mrs. Hallowich graduated from New Castle Area High School in 1974 and became a LPN shortly after.  She was employed at Sharon Regional Hospital and Jameson Hospital, where she retired from. Amy was avid Steelers and Pirates fan.

Amy is survived by her daughter Melissa Hallowich, grandchildren Christian Blews and Nicholas Moser, niece Pam Sokolow and cats Max, Leo and Loki.

In addition to her husband, Amy is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
