Ann B (Golba) Scott

Ann Barbara (Golba) Scott, age 85 of New Castle, passed away on the morning of March 26, 2023 at
UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Ann was born on March 24, 1938 in New Castle to the late John and Helen (Telesz) Golba.
Ann was married on August 9, 1958 in Madonna Church to the late Charles “Scotty” Scott. They
were married for 54 years. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2013.
Ann was a 1955 graduate of Union High School and a 1968 graduate of the New Castle School
of Beauty Culture as a licensed beautician. She had worked at the New Castle Dry Goods as a
secretary, E.B. Connelly Insurance, and also worked and retired from Rockwell International,
Spring Division as an Accounts Payable Clerk after 20 years.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her daughter Lisa Ann (James) Jancel and
granddaughters Emma and Sienna, of Clinton PA.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 5-8 PM at Noga Funeral Home,
1142 S. Mill Street, New Castle PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM on Friday at Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus Site.
Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Entombment will follow at Castleview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
