Bernard A. Jaworowski, 77, of Shenango Twp. passed away the afternoon of November 6, 2020 at UPMC Passavant Hospital.
Bernard was born October 26, 1943 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Bernard and Josephine R. (Uminski) Jaworowski. Mr. Jaworowski was married to the former Barbara A. Germick. She survives at home. They were married for 55 years. Mr. Jaworowski was member of Holy Spirit Parish-St. Joseph site. Bernard graduated from Shenango High School, class of 1961, and attended Youngstown State University.
Bernard served his apprenticeship at Youngstown Sheet and Tube for two years. He worked as a carpenter for numerous years at Sharon Steel, and retired from CUE in Cranberry Twp., PA. Bernard loved going to his camp hunting, fishing, and working on sudoku puzzles. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. He especially loved being around his grandchildren and family.
In addition this wife Barbara, Bernard is survived by his daughter, Erin J. (Brad) Booher of New Castle; grandson, Braden, wife Heather Booher, great-granddaughter, Aubrey of Mercer, PA; grandsons, Bronson and Brenton Booher, of New Castle; son, Bernard A. Jaworowski Jr., daughter-in-law, Stacey and granddaughter, Jordan, all of New Castle.
Mr. Jaworowski was preceded in death by both his parents and son, Thomas Jaworowski.
Following his wishes there are no calling hours or service scheduled at this time. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street New Castle. The family is asking the memorial donations be made in Bernard’s name to the McGuire Memorial Home, 2325 Mercer Rd. New Brighton, PA 15066.
