Beth Ann Nord, 56, of New Castle, PA passed away unexpectedly the morning of April 24, 2025 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Beth Ann was born on November 8th, 1968 in New Castle, PA. She was the daughter of the late Eldred “Sonny”and Frances (Kwolek) Nord.
Beth Ann was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Bessemer Presbyterian Church, where she spent over 30 years of service as the Church Secretary prior to her retirement. She was a graduate of Mohawk High School, class of 1987.
Beth Ann is survived by her sister, Diane L. Nord (Mark Sackin) of Hillsville, PA, and many cousins and friends who loved her dearly. In addition to her parents, Beth Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Clint Nord; both her maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Beth Ann was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending all types of Mohawk High School sporting events. She loved going to SNPJ and the Croatian Club to listen and attend Polka dances.
Despite life's challenges, Beth Ann remained a radiating source of positivity within her community. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends and chatting with anyone who needed a friend.
Diane would like to take this opportunity to extend her gratitude to Beth Ann's faithful caregiver Charlotte Oliver. Her consistent care instilled dignity within Beth Ann's life and allowed Beth Ann her independence. Charlotte was an incredible caregiver and an even better friend to Beth Ann, Diane is eternally grateful for the care Charlotte had shown her family throughout the years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc., 1142 Mill Street, New Castle, PA.
A funeral service and rite of committal prayers will immediately follow visitation in the funeral home. Pastor Nathan Leslie of Bessemer Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Castleview Cemetery.
