Betty L (Brant) Delaney

Betty L. Delaney, 93, of New Castle passed away on July 22, 2020 in the UPMC Family Hospice of Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh.

Betty was born on September 12, 1926 In Uniontown, PA to the late Asa and Dolly Clark Brant. Betty enjoyed sewing and was a member of The Silver Sneakers.

Surviving are her two daughters, Linda (Jack) Clark of Valerico, Florida and Cheryl (Dennis) Higgins of New Castle; two sisters, Donna Swaney of Uniontown, PA and Pauline Norton of Harrison City, PA; five grandchildren, David (Deanna) Clark, Jamie Clark, Ian (Christina) Delaney, Ryan (Amy) Delaney and Erin (Chris) Creahan; nine great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James and son James Delaney.

Services were private and burial took place in Oak Park Cemetery in New Castle.
