Beverly J. (Baldwin) Cwynar

Beverly J. Cwynar, 85, formerly of Hanna Street passed away the afternoon of July 13, 2026 at Avalon Nursing Home.

Beverly was born January 11, 1941 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Harry Raymond and Minnie (Leathers) Baldwin.  Beverly married the late Ted Cwynar on July 2, 1966; they were married for 36 years.  Mrs. Cwynar was of the Protestant faith and attended Northminster Presbyterian Church. Beverly was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1958.

Mrs. Cwynar will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and all types of puzzle books, and her Friday night card club. Beverly enjoyed volunteering at the New Castle Playhouse, and attending Rockwell retirees’ luncheons. She was a very active member of the Third Presbyterian Church.

Beverly is survived by her two daughters, Judy (Randy) Wills of State College, PA and Susan (Ron) Donston of Yorktown, VA; and five grandchildren, Lauren (Jake) Sarvis, Emily Donston, Ryan Donston, Jason Wills, and Diana Wills.

Mrs. Cwynar was preceded in death by both her parents and husband, Ted Cwynar.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated immediately following visitation in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Pastor Jordan Rimmer, of Northminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Castleview Cemetery.
