Charles (Chuck) R. Miller

Charles R. (Chuck) Miller, 41, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of September 29, 2021 at the Butler Hospital.

Born March 16, 1980 in Escondido, CA to Nancy Miller Damron, she survives here in New Castle. Chuck married the former Rochelle M. Wright. They were married on September 26, 2003 and have been married for 18 years. She survives at home with his three wonderful children.

Mr. Miller was a carpenter by trade and was self-employed. He was a 1999 graduate of Union High School. On September 14, 2014, he graduated from New Castle School of Trades with high Honors for attendance and grades. Chuck loved to go fishing and enjoy the outdoors. He also loved sports and never missed his children’s practices and games. He was a loving father and husband.

In addition to his wife Rochelle, and mother, survivors include his three children Amaya I. (fiance Jordan)  Miller, Charles J. Miller, and Olivia M. Miller, all of New Castle; three brothers, Robert (Stevie) Damron of New Castle, Craig (Tiffany) Damron of Youngstown, OH, and Frank Vasquez, Jr. of Escondido, CA; two sisters, Jennifer (Anthony) Vasquez and Angelita Vasquez, both of Escondido, CA; brother-in-law Edward (Shelby) Wright, seven nephews and eight nieces; one great-nephew and one great-niece survive.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Carol Haught; two aunts, Debra Trujillo and Jodie Dicken.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday October 7, 2021 at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill Street.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday in the funeral home immediately following visitation by Rev. Matthew Bupp at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Castleview Cemetery.
