Dean A. Masajada, 57, of 275 Sterling Ave. Sharon Pa passed away the afternoon of April 20, 2026 at Sharon Regional Hospital.
Dean was born January 25, 1969 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Joseph D. Masajada, his mother Jenny Krasinski-O’Neil survives at home. Dean married the former Julie A. Holland on July 11, 1998, they were married for 27 years. She survives at home. Mr. Masajada was of the Christian faith. He was a graduate of Annandale High School in Annandale, Va., class of 1987.
Mr. Masajada retired after more than 20 years of service in the Fiber Optic’s Department with the Patten and Trademark office in Washington D.C. Dean was a former member of the Lion Club here in Neshannock Township. He enjoyed computers, all types of music, and going fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother Jenny and wife Julie, Dean is survived by his four children, Ashley Pajon of SC; Haydee (Ricky) Pica of Beaver Falls, PA; Ethan (Oonagh) Masajada of New Castle; and Jocelyn Masajada of Seattle, WA; sister, Kimberly L. Masajada of Mojave, AZ; and four grandchildren, Lilly O’Brien, Wren O’Brien, Dominic Pica, and Julia Pica.
Dean was preceded in death by his father, Joseph D. Masajada; and his daughter, Lydia N. Masajada.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10 to 12 noon at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle, Pa.
A private family service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home.
