Deanna J. Parady (Arkwright), 88, of New Castle, died on August 18, 2026. She was born March 8, 1938, the daughter of Gaylord Arkwright and Beverly Klekner.
Deanna worked nearly 25 years for H&R Block before co‑founding Parady Robinson Tax Service with Mary Jo Robinson in 1987. They served the community until the COVID‑19 outbreak in 2020, giving her nearly six decades of service in tax preparation.
She also gave many years to the Lawrence County Fair, serving as Office Manager and Recording Secretary, where she helped keep the annual event organized and thriving. She enjoyed animals, sewing, trips to Atlantic City, Las Vegas, visits to the zoo, and most of all time with her family. Deanna married Loyal Edward Parady II in November 1956. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in November 2026.
She is survived by her husband, Loyal Edward Parady II; her children, Kevin Parady and Loyal Edward Parady III. Her grandchildren include Eric Halfhill and Jennifer Bauder (children of her late daughter Deborah “Debbie” Parady Owoc); Sara Gadwell Kozelnik and Leaha Parady (daughters of Kevin Parady and his wife Marie); and Alexandria “Allie” Parady and Andie Parady (daughters of Loyal Edward Parady III).Her great‑grandchildren include Billy, Scott, Dante Call, and Stephanie Bauder (children of Jennifer Bauder); Reagan Marshall (daughter of Leaha Parady and Jason Marshall); and Fletcher Kozelnik and Ellie Kozelnik (children of Sara Gadwell Kozelnik and her husband Scott Kozelnik).
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Parady Owoc; brothers Ed Parady, Stephen Klekner, and Jeff Klekner and her parents. In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held. Local arrangements entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc.
