Dina McLaren

Dina McLaren, 56, of New Castle passed away the morning of December 29, 2019 in Jameson Memorial Hospital.

Dina was born May 1, 1963 in Mitilini, Greece. She was the daughter of the late Spero and Angella Skoufos Theodorou. She was married to Edwin McLaren for 29 years. He survives at home. Dina was of the Greek Orthodox faith. She was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1981.

Mrs. McLaren retired after 27 years of service as a waitress at the former Lou Pappan’s Restaurant, now Hugger Mugger Restaurant. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her children.

In addition to her husband Edwin, Dina is survived by a daughter, Brittney McLaren of New Castle; son, Anthony McLaren of New Castle; brother, George Theodorou; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dina was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Dino Theodorou.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street.

A Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Rev. Fr. Michael A. Gavrilos, pastor of St. George Greek Orthodox Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Castleview Mausoleum. Online condolences may be viewed or offered by visiting www.nogafuneralhome.com
