Elizabeth M. (McCormick) Johnson

Elizabeth M. Johnson, of 684 Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road, New Castle passed away the afternoon of November 4, 2026 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Elizabeth was born December 5, 1957 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Jean (Vogan) McCormick. Elizabeth was married to Richard Johnson. They were married on July 12, 1986 and spent 40 years together. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Laurel High School, class of 1976.

Mrs. Johnson retired after numerous years of service as a legal secretary with the local district courts in Lawrence County. Elizabeth enjoyed reading and sewing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Richard, Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Nate) Wiseman of New Castle; son, Cody (Briana) Johnson of New Brighton, PA; two sisters, Juanita (Danny) Hardie of Portersville, PA and Arlene (Jim) Gaggiano of Poland, OH; and three grandchildren, Kai Wiseman, Leo Johnson, and Meadow Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Edward McCormick.

Following her wishes, there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc.
