Elizabeth J. (Falatko) Lenhart

Elizabeth J. Lenhart 88 of Wampum, PA passed away the evening of October 15, 2025 at her residence.

Elizabeth was born March 16, 1937 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late George and Susie (Yesko) Falatko. She married the late James A. Lenhart. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2020. Mrs. Lenhart was Roman Catholic and attended Holy Spirit Parish. Elizabeth was a graduate of New Castle High School.

Elizabeth will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Elizabeth worked 20 plus years at the Haven Convalescent Home in the laundry department. Elizabeth enjoyed cake decoration, crocheting, and seek and find word puzzles. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her three children, James (Cynthia) Lenhart of Mineral Ridge, OH, Michele Edmiston of Wampum, and David (Sharon) Lenhart of New Castle; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Justin) Bardash, Samantha (Jeff) Tucker, Benjamin (Sarah) Edmiston, Matthew (Maureen) Edmiston and Larry Armagost; three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Tucker, Julie Tucker, and Emma Edmiston.

In addition to her parents and husband James, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Hajec, and three brothers, John Falatko, George Falatko, and an infant brother.

Services will be private per Elizabeth’s wishes. Local arrangements entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle.
