Erik M. Waller

Erik Michael Waller, 50 of 1031 W. Washington Street departed peacefully from this earth on July 13, 2022 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

He was born June 17, 1972 in Pittsburgh PA. to Robin Waller-Akins and Eric Johnson. In 1981 his mother married Nathaniel Akins and relocated to New Castle. He was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1990. Mr. Waller worked as a crane operator at the Faddis Concrete Products unit an accident ended his career in 2021.

He leaves to mourn his loss his mother and father, his daughters, Vanessa Waller, Jalica Teets, and Kirstin Waller; his brother Marcus Akins; sister, Ronda Johnson; four grandsons, Amarii, Trennon JR., Ayden, Traevon; one granddaughter, Armoni; grandparents, Herman and Vera Waller-Peek; a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins; and best friend Rodney Wise.

Erik was preceded in death by his step-father, Nathaniel Akins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 10 to 12 pm at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street.

A Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Wynelle Dessau will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
