Eugene M Ross, Sr.

Eugene Michael Ross, Sr., 74, of Edinburg passed away the morning of February 21, 2020.

Eugene was born March 22, 1945 in New Castle. He was the son of the late John and Marie (Harding) Ross. Mr. Ross was married to the former Becky Magusiak. They were married for 54 years. Eugene was a graduate of New Castle High School.

Mr. Ross retired after numerous years of service as a machine operator and fabricator at Value Structure in Ellwood City, PA. Eugene was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his ATV. Mr. Ross was very active with youth sports. He was the head coach of New Wilmington youth football team and coached little league baseball and softball. Eugene was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Eugene enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Becky, Eugene is survived by his son, Eugene M. (Jennifer) Ross, Jr. of League City, TX; daughter, Serene (Hakim Laadim) Ross of Louisville, KY; brother, James Ross of Philadelphia, PA; and six grandchildren, Mia, Sofia, Brody, and Giselle Ross and Malika and Ilyas Laadim.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Ross; and two infant brothers.
