Godfrey (Perry) White

Godfrey White, 76 of 515 Electric Street, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away the morning of June 22, 2023 at the Andover Skilled Nursing Home, Conneaut, OH.

Godfrey was born December 23, 1946 in Montrose, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Alford and Susie (Simmons) Perry. Godfrey was married to Charles R. White. They were married for 50 years. He survives at home. Mrs. White was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. White retired after numerous years of service at Domino’s Refine Sugars in Yonkers, NY. Godfrey loved the outdoors fishing, and making gardens out of anything. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Charles, Godfrey is survived by four children, Charlotte White of Yonkers, NY, Charlene White of New Castle; Charles (Nenoshka) White of Yonkers, NY, and Angela White of Yonkers, NY; brother, John Perry of Montrose, AR; sister, Tecumseh Perry of Yonkers, NY; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Alfred and Abraham Perry; and her sister, Clara Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Noga

Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street New Castle, PA.

A Funeral service will be conducted immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Pastor Saint Bennett  will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
