Grace Marie (Craven) Frisbee

Grace M. Frisbee, 91 has been a resident of Haven Convalescent Home since October 6, 2016, and formerly from Shenango Twp.  Believing in Jesus as her Lord and Savior, she moved on to her heavenly reward at 3:15 A.M. April 11, 2020

Grace was born December 20, 1928 in Wampum, PA. She was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Marjorie (Moltz) Craven. She was married to the late Marvin Eugene Frisbee. He preceded her in death on January 28, 1995.

Grace is remembered by her family for her joyful love and kindness as she shared gifts from her sewing, baking, knitting, crocheting, reading and teaching school to her grandchildren.  She loved to sing and was known for her wedding cakes and her smile.

Grace was survived by her two children, Edward Charles (Mary) Frisbee, and Darlene Ann Frisbee, both of New Castle; sister, Dorothy Ellen Formati of Ohio; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Frisbee was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marvin; daughter, Janet Elaine Peters; three brothers, Harold, Charles, and Russell Craven.

A private service for immediate family will be held at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill Street, New Castle this week. The Rev. Frederick Gilbert of the Independent Methodist Church officiated. Burial will be in the Savannah Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date by Rev. Gilbert at the Independent Methodist Church.
