Gregory L. Peters

Gregory L. Peters, 73, of Edinburg, passed away on the evening of February 22, 2022 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. 

Greg was born on July 19, 1948 in New Castle to the late Robert L. and Doris M. (Kiefer) Peters. Greg and his wife Mary Lou have been married for 46 years, she survives at home.  He worked at Rockwell International and Ellwood City Forge.  He was an avid sportsman that loved hunting and fishing with friends and family. He was a Past Master in the Lodge of the Craft Westminster. He will be lovingly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 children, John E. Peters, Edinburg PA, Kristen (Ryan) Trask, Edinburg PA, and Steven J. (Maggie) Peters, of Morgantown WV; brother, Robert K. (Betty Ann) Peters of New Castle; sister, Elaine (James) Patterson of New Castle, and his 7 grandchildren Aubrey, Charlie, Stella, Eli, Eiddwyn, Claire, and Evelyn.

Following Greg’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc.1142 S. Mill Street, New Castle. In lieu of flowers the family is asking memorial donations be made in his name to the Shriner’s Hospital, 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
