Janyce I Moore

Janyce I. Moore, 77, of New Castle, PA passed away the afternoon of December 14, 2021 in UPMC
Jameson Hospital after a long illness.
Janyce was born October 2, 1944 in New Castle, PA to the late Adam and (Josephine) Adamczyk Pivovar.
Janyce graduated from Shenango High School, class of 1962. Mrs. Moore was devoted to her faith and
her church. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in New Castle. Janyce loved to cook for her two
sons and family. She also enjoyed gardening and always had a positive attitude.
Mrs. Moore worked as a secretary in General Services Administration, Washington, D.C., and as a clerk
for 30 years at the New Castle Housing Authority.
Survivors include her two sons, Christopher R. and Anton A. Moore, both of New Castle; two brothers,
Ronald A. Pivovar of Greenville, PA and Philip (Christine) Pivovar of El Paso, TX.
Janyce was preceded in death by her parents.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Noga Funeral
Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill Street.
A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home following visitation at 12 noon. As Janyce wished,
Pastor Joseph Lahr will provide a Christian closing ceremony.
Burial will take place in S.S. Philip & James Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral
