John F. Hildebrandt, 69, of 318 Harding Street passed away the evening of May 28, 2025 at his residence.
John was born November 28, 1955 in Butler, PA. He was the son of the late Leonard and Annabelle (Clyde) Hildebrandt. John was married to the former Bonnie Cuhran. They were married for 21 years. She survives at home. John was of the Christian faith. He was a graduate of Moniteau High School, class of 1973.
Mr. Hildebrandt continued his education at Grove City College, and graduated in 1977, earning his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. John retired after 10 years of service as an engineer and technician with Applied Test Systems out of Butler, PA. John enjoyed reading novels and going hunting in his earlier years. He loved his two dogs, especially “Jose”. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Bonnie, John is survived by his son Michael (Heather) Cuhran of Poland, OH.; three brothers, David (Delores) Hildebrandt of SC., William (Mindy) Hildebrandt of Butler, and Michael (Lorraine) Hildebrandt of Butler; and many nieces and nephews,
Mr. Hildebrandt was preceded in death by both his parents.
Following in John’s wishes there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc.
