John "Jack" C. Krueger

John “Jack” C. Krueger, 78, of 125 Ashberry Lane, Apt. 91 passed away the morning of March 15, 2021 at his residence.

John was born April 18, 1942 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Carl and Helen (Bevan) Krueger. John was married to the former Karen E. Henle. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2004. They were married for 38 years. Mr. Krueger was Roman Catholic and attended Holy Spirit Parish-St. Joseph the Worker site. John was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1960.

Mr. Krueger retired after numerous years of service as a grinder at Universal Rundle Corporation. He served his country for 25 years with the National Guard and retired as Staff Sergeant /E-6. He enjoyed fishing and all things outdoors. He was a member of the Shenango Volunteer Fire Department. He served as former Lieutenant, Captain, and Assistant Chief at the fire department.

John is survived by his son, John W. (Jennifer) Krueger of New Castle; daughter, Kimberly A. Krueger of West Middlesex, PA; sister, Mary Ann Dess of Shenango Twp. PA; four grandchildren, Justine Krueger, Jonathon Krueger, Henley Krueger, and Logan Nitsche; and one great-grandson, Mason Krueger.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Krueger.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill Street New Castle.

A Blessing Service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home. The Rev. Anthony Sciarappa, Parochial Vicar of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
