Kathleen A. Fordu

Kathleen A. Fordu, 78, of 7 Worthington Ave. passed away the morning of August 16, 2025 at The Grove in New Castle.

Kathleen was born June 7, 1947 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Soldo) Fordu. Kathleen was of the Roman Catholic faith and a member of Holy Spirit Parish-St. Vitus site. Mrs. Fordu was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1965. Kathleen continued her education at Youngstown State University.

Mrs. Fordu worked for numerous years as an accountant at the former Fisher Big Wheel Department Store. She also worked as a personal accountant for a local businessman. In her free time, Kathleen taught CCD classes at St. Vitus Parish for 15 years. She also taught lessons and played classical piano.

Kathleen is survived by her brother, Daniel J. (Fiancé, Karen Zielinski) Fordu of North Royalton OH; loving nephew Jason Fordu.

In addition to her parents and niece Dawn Fordu, Kathleen were preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Following in her wishes, there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle, PA. 16101.
