Kenneth L. Gardocky

Kenneth L. Gardocky, 90, of 103 Mapeat Lane passed away the evening of October 7, 2023 at the UPMC Avalon Place.

Kenneth was born August 12, 1933 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Julius and Betty (Yokes) Gardocky. Kenneth was married to the former Ellen A. McClure; she died on October 31, 2017. They were married for 60 years. He was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1951.

Following graduation, Kenneth served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Gardocky retired after numerous years as a truck driver with Pennsylvania Transfer and Ryder PIE Trucking. Kenneth was an animal lover and enjoyed taking care of his pets.

Mr. Gardocky is survived by his daughter, Marie (Edward) Cliffton of Maple Shade, NJ; two sons, David L. Gardocky of New Castle, and Mark W. Gardocky of York, PA.; and three grandchildren, Paul Cliffton, Elise Cliffton, and Nick Gardocky.

In addition to his parents and wife Ellen, Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Julius Gardocky.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill Street New Castle PA 16101.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the Noga Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Castleview Mausoleum.
