Larry Rausch Obituary

Larry R. Rausch, 77, of 678 Guitonville Road, Tionesta, PA passed away the afternoon of February 19, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Larry was born on May 21, 1944 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Donald and Mary Stoughton Rausch. Larry was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1962. Mr. Rausch was a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. Larry worked at the New Castle News as the Circulation Manager, and Specialty Heating Company as manager and owner. Larry retired after numerous years of service with the Blair Strip Steel Company in New Castle. He loved his cars and boats. He enjoyed going fishing in Canada and hunting in the mountains.

Mr. Rausch is survived by his life partner, Roger W. Heckathorne of Tionesta, PA; sister, Brenda (Harry) Gaither of Easton, MD.; and brother, John F. Rausch of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Rausch; and sister, Linda Veri.

Following in Larry’s wishes there are no calling hours or service scheduled at this time. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill Street, New Castle, PA.
