Linda J. (Gurgacz) Spaulding

Linda J. Spaulding, 69, of Sunny Ave, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her residence.

Linda was born August 21, 1953 in New Castle.  She was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Magusiak) Gurgacz. Mrs. Spaulding worked for Rockwell International before finishing her Bachelors of Education from Slippery Rock University. She worked and retired from the Union School District as a teacher. She also worked for the New Castle YMCA in the daycare. Linda was Roman Catholic and a member of Holy Spirit Parish-Mary Mother of Hope Site.  

Mrs. Spaulding loved spending time with her friends and family and swimming in her pool. She is survived by her children, Carrie (Shawn) Klik, Cory (Cat) Spaulding, both of New Castle, and Camille (Russell Whitlock) Spaulding, Brownsboro AL.; brother Stephen (Carol) Gurgacz, FL and grandchildren Connor and Cian Klik, Carrah, Corryn, and Cannon Spaulding, and Daniella Hughes.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Linda on Thursday at 11:30 AM at Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus Site. Father Joseph McCaffrey will officiate. Burial will take place at Madonna Cemetery. Online condolences may be viewed or offered by visiting www.nogafuneralhome.com.
