Lorraine Ann Temenski

Lorraine Ann Temenski, 84, passed away at her sister’s home in Neshannock Twp., the evening of September 9, 2026.

Lorraine was born July 12, 1942 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Genevieve R. (Pivovar) Temenski. Ms. Temenski was of the Polish National Catholic faith and attended Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1960.

Ms. Temenski retired after numerous years of services at the former Shenango China Company. She also worked at the former Leeds and Northrup Company. She was interested in astronomy, outer space, and celestial events. Ms. Temenski’s family was very important to her and she was able to help take care of her mother in her later years. Lorraine also enjoyed traveling on overnight bus tours, and working in her yard. She was also a big Pittsburgh Steeler fan, and enjoyed going to the casino in Pittsburgh. Ms. Temenski was an animal lover and took care of her group of cats. Lorraine was known for being a good cook and loved getting new cookware. She enjoyed walking the track at Shenango High School, and will be remembered as a kind and gentle person who was interested in others well-being.

Ms. Temenski is survived by her sister, Regina T. (Edward) Badger of New Castle. Regina will miss her conversations with Lorraine about current events, the celestial occurrences, and the weather.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle. Special thanks to the Three Rivers Hospice for their care of Lorraine at Regina’s home.

A Funeral service will be celebrated immediately visitation in the funeral home. The Very Rev. John A. Rencewicz, II of Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Polish National Cemetery.
