Margaret L (Moore) Fedor

Margaret (Peg) L. Fedor, “59 forever”, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of July 11, 2020 at Anthology of McCandles

Peg was born some time ago on July 15 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late George Philip and Minnie Mae Zeigler Moore. She was married to the late Frank J. Fedor. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2014. They were married for 58 years. Peg was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1952. She graduated from the New Castle Beauty Academy.

Mrs. Fedor will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother. Peg worked outside the home as a Hairdresser and Cosmetologist for numerous years. Mrs. Fedor was a Charter member of the Shenango Christian Church, and loved anything and everything Irish. She enjoyed playing cards and talking with friends over coffee. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.  

Peg is survived by two daughters, Kelly L. (Daniel) Meenan of Sarasota, FL, and Kimberley A. (Tony) Battaglia of Gibsonia, PA.; two sisters, Sylvia Shoaff of New Castle, and Janet (Tony) Maple of Zanesville, OH; five grandchildren, Dr. Chelsea (Devin) Scott, Dr. Kirsten (Jack) Schrey, Maria Battaglia, Antonino Battaglia, and Ali Battaglia.

In addition to her parents and husband Frank, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, George Sidney Moore; and two sisters, Gladys Gibson, and Gertrude Park.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 S. Mill Street, New Castle. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home. George Homer Maple will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Mausoleum.
