Mark A. Bober

Mark A. Bober, 62, formerly of New Castle, passed away the morning of January 20, 2024 at the Grove in New Wilmington.

Mark was born July 7, 1961 in in New Castle. He was the son of the late Adolph Bober. Mark’s mother Mary Ann (Tricolo) Bober survives at home. Mark was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. Mr. Bober is a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1979.

Mr. Bober retired after more than 34 years of service as a Tool Technician with Pennsylvania Tool Sales and Service. Mark was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mark loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and coaching little league baseball. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his two children, Brian Bober and Bethann Bober, both of New Castle; two brothers, David Bober of Grove City and Thomas Bober of Pulaski; and sister-in-law, Carol Bober of Mt. Jackson.

In addition to his father Adolph, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Bober.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle.

A Blessing service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Rev. Benjamin Barr, Parochial Vicar of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in S.S. Philip and James Cemetery. Online condolences may be viewed or offered by visiting www.nogafuneralhome.com
