Mark Boyd

Mark Boyd, 66, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of Dec. 10, 2021. Mark was born
November 20, 1955 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Harry and Nancy Boyd.

Mark had a love for life and was always smiling and making people laugh. He loved to go to
work with his family at Casey K Creations and greeted all who entered! He left an impression
on everyone he met. It was hard not to fall in love with his smile and “Mark-isms.” Such as,
“That’s right!” and “You so smart!” became sayings so many carried on into their home lives.

Mark retired over 7 years ago from Lark Enterprises. He had so many fond memories from
Lark. He loved to dance, bowl, run in the Olympics and go to the movies! Most of all, he loved
his music! Every night, we had music night where we sang and danced to all his favorite songs
from the Monkeys, Beatles and Elvis. His favorite movie was Grease Lightening.

Mark was truly a blessing in our lives. He spent his whole life making people smile and treating
people with kindness. Even at the end, he knew how to make you smile. He will be deeply
missed by his family. Marcia and Brian Boyd; Casey, Chris, Caitlin and Boyd Kurutz; Josh,
Mindy, Madyson and Autumn Boyd.

A private blessing service will be held for immediate family this week.
