Marlene Ann (Fabian) Eddy, 82, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Marlene was born November 28, 1937 in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Llenko) Fabian. Marlene was married to Robert J. Eddy Sr. They were married for 62 years. He survives at home. Marlene was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1955. She was of the Protestant faith and attended Neshannock Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Eddy will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Marlene volunteered at the former St. Francis Hospice in the finance department. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends; especially her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Robert, Marlene is survived by two sons, Robert J. (Rachel) Eddy Jr. of San Antonio, TX and David J. (Sara) Eddy of Erie, PA; sister, Madalynne Harthausen of Glen Burnie, MD; and five grandchildren, Allison, Nicholas, Garrett, Courtney, and Keeley. She was also blessed with loving and caring neighbors.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bernard Fabian.
Following in her wishes, there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time.
