Mary Lee Carr, 91 of New Castle passed away the morning of September 8, 2023 at UPMC Avalon Nursing.
She was born July 6, 1932 in Washington County in Kentucky before getting married. She was a family person, cleaned and cooked holidays and special occasions at the Edinburg Christian Church. Mary was member of Edinburg Christian Church for over 30 years.
Mary had two children, Pamela J. Brown and Richard E. Schukert, Jr. She also had 35 nieces and nephews
She is survived by her sister; Nora E. (Roper) wall; grandchildren, Michelle Leshew, Shannon Leshew, and Christopher Brown; and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Carr; brothers and sisters, Vernie (Crawley) Wall, Sherman Wall, Helen (Hardin) Wall, Margaret (Noel) Wall, Arthur Wall, William Wall, Irene Wall, and James Wall.
