Maryann A. (Krzysik) Faraone

Maryann A. Faraone, 77, of 1810 Hamilton Street, New Castle passed away the morning of March 1, 2025 in Haven Nursing Home.

Maryann was born on January 21, 1948 in New Castle to the late Henry and Mary A. (Gurgacz) Krzysik. Mrs. Faraone was a registered nurse for 35 years working at the former St. Francis Hospital in New Castle. She was known by her family to be an excellent seamstress; she enjoyed making clothes for them. Maryann loved baking and making crafts. She played cards with her friends.

Maryann is survived by her four loving sons, Freddie A. Faraone of New Castle, Anthony D. Faraone of New Castle, Robert (Bob) A. Faraone of New Castle and David A. (Lisa) Faraone of Youngsville, NC; two brothers, Edward S. (Elaine) Krzysik and John H. Krzysik, both of New Castle; sister, Helen (Harry) Buntman of New Castle; six grandchildren, Olivia Faraone, Harli Respess, Madison Faraone, Antonio Faraone, Sebastian Faraone, and Siena Faraone; and five great-grandchildren.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Henry Krzysik; and sister, Jane Natale.

In following her wishes, there will be no visitation at this time; a Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date by the family. Pastor Dominick Cestrone of New Castle Revival Center will be officiating.
