Melissa M. DoVidio

Melissa M. DoVidio, 40, of New Castle passed away the evening of June 20, 2024 at UPMC Jameson.

Melissa was born January 6, 1984 in New Castle. She was the daughter of late Ralph A. DoVidio. Her mother, Marianne (Mariacher) Pia survives at home. She was a graduate of New Castle High School, Class of 2002.

Ms. DoVidio continued her education at Pittsburgh Technical Institution for two years studying Travel and Tourism. Melissa worked as a Flight Attendant and at the AAA office here in New Castle. She will be remembered as a strong independent woman. Her family was her number one priority and she loved them all dearly.

In addition to her mother Marianne, Melissa is survived by her paternal grandfather, Ralph DoVidio of New Castle; her companion, Andrew Heckathorne; and step-son, Camden Heckathorne, both of New Castle, two brothers, Ralph (Kelly) DoVidio, and Anthony DoVidio, both of New Castle; two sisters, Julianne (Charles) Farris of Las Vegas, NV, and Macy Reid of Cape Cod, Mass; step-mother, Marcy DoVidio of New Castle; and numerous nieces that she loved very much.

Ms. DoVidio was preceded in death by her father, Ralph DoVidio; maternal grandparents, William R. and Myrtle Mariacher; paternal grandmother, Anna M. DoVidio; and uncle, Robert DoVidio.

Following her wishes there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle PA 16101.
