Michael M. Brenner of 1116 S. Mercer Street passed away the morning of the October 27, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Michael was born July 23, 1938 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Michael and Anne (Sheffler) Brenner. Mr. Brenner was married to the late Frances Mussolino. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2019. They were married for 57 years. Mr. Brenner was of the Protestant faith. Michael attended New Castle High School.
Mr. Brenner retired after numerous years as a Butcher at the former A&M Supermarket here in New Castle. He also worked at the former Shenango China Company as a laborer. Mr. Brenner will be remembered by his family as a loving brother, father, and grandfather. Michael’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his four sons, Stephen, Michael, Brian, and Christopher Brenner, all of New Castle; brother, David (Cathy) Brenner of New Castle; sister, Nancy Miller of West Middlesex; and five grandchildren, Stephen M. Brenner Jr., Amanda M. Brenner, Brian T. Brenner Jr., Mia Brenner, and Nicholas Heathcoat.
In addition to his parents, and wife Frances, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Brenner; two brothers, Larry and Richard Brenner; and sister, Violet Anderson.
