Mollie J. Lehmier, 86, of E. Moody Ave, passed away the morning of September 8, 2022 at the Haven Convalescent Home.
Mollie was born on November 16, 1935 in Hastings PA. She was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Thelma (McClelland) Smith. She was married to the late Lawrence J. Lehmier. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2017. They were married for 62 years. Mrs. Lehmier was a graduate of Carrolltown High School, class of 1953.
Mrs. Lehmier worked as a banquet waitress for many years and was an excellent cook and baker, especially her pies. She even made multiple dinners a night for her children. Mollie was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mollie is survived by her 5 children, Joni (Lee) Pugh, New Castle, Lawrence (Rhonda) Lehmier, Coventry RI, Kenneth (Denise) Lehmier, Karen (Donald) Peterson, Fredericksburg VA, and Robert (Debi) Lehmier, New Castle; sister Nancy (James) Mutchock, Bakertown PA; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents and husband Lawrence, Mollie was preceded in death by her sisters Pearl Boggota, Mildred Chambers and Alice Smith.
Per families wishes there will be no services for Mollie at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Noga Funeral Home, Inc.
