Patricia J. (Forney) Blazic

Obituary

Patricia J.  Blazic, 70 of Pulaski Road, New Castle, passed away on the morning of January 20, 2022 at her residence.
Patricia was born in New Castle on February 26, 1951 to the late Charles Edward and Elizabeth “Betty” (Stofsik) Forney. She was a 1969 graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech.  Patricia worked as a cashier at Thift’s Drug Store for 25 years. She was of Roman Catholic faith and attended St. Camillus and St. Mary’s Parishes.  
In addition to attending church, Patricia was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed going on trips to Atlantic City with the love of her life, the late Joseph Masajada and watching her favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. 
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Trisha (Robert) Mellott, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and sister Mary Lou Scopacasa.
In addition to her parents and fiancee Joe, Patricia is preceded in death by her sister Betty Ann (Fred) Leunis.
Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 S. Mill Street.
