Peter G. Karidis III, 63 of Tarpon Springs FL passed away on the morning of November 29, 2022 at Tampa General Hospital.
Peter was born on August 23, 1959 in Casa Grande AZ. He is the son of Pete Karidis Jr. and Christine (Talaganis) Karidis. Mr. Karidis was of the Orthodox Faith.
Peter graduated from New Castle High School class of 1977. He went on to college and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Mr. Karidis retired from GSK Pharmaceuticals and worked in the procurement department. Peter enjoyed boating along the gulf coast, golfing, traveling, and the outdoors. Peter was an amazing son, brother, uncle, father, and friend. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his children, and he touched the lives of everyone he met.
In addition to his parents, Peter was survived by his children Andrei and Natalia S. Karidis of Tarpon Springs FL; brother, Steven (Susan) Karidis of New Castle, and sisters, Kathy L. (Joseph) Giangiuli of Warrendale, PA and Christina M. Karidis of New Castle; He also left behind his loving nephews, Alex, Tyler, Nikko and Marcus.
He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. (a Trisagion Service will be held in church at 6:45 p.m.) at St. Elias’ Orthodox Church, 915 Lynn Street. Additional viewing will be 10-11 a.m. on Thursday prior to the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Very Rev. Kevin G. Long from St. Elias Orthodox Church will officiate. The committal and burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to the St. Elias Orthodox Church.
