Robert A. Cunningham Sr., 70, of Slippery Rock passed away the early morning of November 29, 2025 at home with his loving family by his side.
Bob was born June 25, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late James J. and Alma (Trunkat) Cunningham. He married the former Donna L. Bradford. They have been married for 51 years, she survives at home. He was a graduate of South Park High School, class of 1973
Following graduation, Bob enlisted in the United States Navy where he served until 1977. He then spent 38 years as an Electronics Technician with the United States Postal Service before retiring. He enjoyed taking care of his family, from building his children’s homes to fixing his grandkids’ cars. He loved golfing, camping, summers at the pool, and being the Uber driver to his grandchildren. Hardworking and generous, he never ran out of dad jokes.
In addition to his wife Donna, Bob is survived by his three children, Anna (Sean) Daugherty, and Jill (Joseph) Adkins, both of Slippery Rock, PA; and son, Robert A. (Heidi) Cunningham, Jr. of Slippery Rock; sister, Barbara (Robert) Yost of Pittsburgh; and nine grandchildren, Andrew, Ben, and Patrick Daugherty, Caleb, Jonah, and Seth Gilmore, Cece Adkins, Maggie Cunningham, and Robert A. Cunningham III.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James A. Cunningham; and sister, Frances Cunningham.
Following his wishes there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 Mill Street, New Castle.
