Samuel R. Cepro

Samuel R. Cepro, 70 of Neshannock Twp. passed away the afternoon of September 24, 2026 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Samuel was born May 31, 1956 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Samuel L. and Dolores J. (Ezzo) Cepro. Mr. Cepro was married to the former Linda S. Carik. They were married for 41 years, she survives at home. Samuel was Roman Catholic and attended Holy Spirit Parish. He was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1974 and attended Youngstown State University.

Mr. Cepro retired after 25 years of service with the former New Castle Fruit and Produce. He also worked at T/R Trophy Products and was co-owner of Friends Bar and Grill. Samuel enjoyed traveling, going to the Casino’s, and loved to go on cruises with his wife and friends. Mr. Cepro enjoyed working with his hands fixing things around his home. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends; and close friends, Joe and Cheryl Gierlach and daughter Kylie Gierlach Hadley; especially his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife Linda, Samuel is survived by three sisters, Cheryl L. (Douglas) Houk on New Castle, Lisa J. (Carmen) Nocera of Poland, OH, and Lori A. (Ronald) Smith of New Castle; Brother-in-Law, Ronald Carik of Youngstown, OH.; seven nephews; one niece; and six great loving nephews and nieces.

Mr. Cepro was preceded in death by both parents, and brother-in-law, Larry Carik.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc. 1142 Mill Street New Castle Pa.

A procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026 for Holy Spirit Parish-St. Vitus Site for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Rev. John Ferguson, Parochial Vicar of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lucy’s Cemetery.
