Sheila Iris Johnson-Barnett

Sheila Iris Johnson-Barnett (Laye-Laye) 57, departed this life peacefully on Friday July 17, 2020 at her home.

Sheila was born March 29, 1963 in Grasonville, MD daughter of the late Corrine Johnson Powell and James A. Lewis. Also preceding her in death, sister Rita Johnson-Barnes and daughter Corrine Johnson (Cody)

Sheila obtained a degree from PennDOT University and Law School. She worked various jobs throughout her lifetime. She took a special interest in Braille and upholstery.

She is survived by her husband, Collie Metrick; son Montral Johnson; grandsons Andre’, Davon and Damont Johnson and Robert Moore; granddaughters Anasjae, Adeijah, and R’Mariana; sisters, Victoria Robinson, Portia Jones, Pamela Johnson Ligons-Butler, Paula Johnson;  brothers, Ben and Walter Jones; sister Deneen Green; best friend Marsha Scaggs; Special Friends, Aisha Atkinson, Lisa Marier, Susan Aponte and Frances Flowers ; daughter-in-law, Shawntelle Johnson; great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
