Stephanie M. Palkovitch, 72 of 906 Pollock Ave. New Castle passed away the afternoon of July 7, 2026 at Quality of Life Services.
Stephanie was born August 29, 1953 in Ellwood City. She was the daughter of the Late Walter J. and Catherine A. (Jumia) Palkovitch. Stephanie was a lifelong resident of New Castle. She was Roman Catholic and attended Holy Spirit Parish. Stephanie was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1971.
Mrs. Palkovitch will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She loved all different types of animals; cats and her dog Nyx. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Stephanie is survived by her son, Michael Palkovitch of New Castle; brother, Walter (Nancy) Palkovitch of Union City, WA; sister, Regina Palkovitch of New Castle; two nephews, John and Matthew Niro, both of Santa Barbara, CA; two nieces, Michelle NIro of Santa Barbara, CA, and Johanna McMullen of Wilmington, DE; two grandchildren, Xander and Scarlet Palkovitch, both of New Castle.
In addition to her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by her sister Christina Niro; and two brothers, Martin Palkovitch and James Palkovitch.
Following Stephanie wishes there are no calling hours scheduled at this time. Burial for Mr. Palkovitch will be in SS Philip and James Cemetery at a later date.
